COSMETIC SURGERY

The cosmetic surgery is the medical speciality that has as function take to the functional and anatomical normality the corporal coverage, that is to say the form of the body. By means of surgery it seeks to reconstruct the deformities and to correct the functional deficiencies by means of the transformation of the human body. The "plastic" word is original of the Greek "plastikos" that it means to mold or to transform.

The purpose is that the patient who has born with a congenital fault or it has had an accident that has made lose the function to him reach the normality both in his aspect and in the function of his body. Also it allows offering the aesthetic improvement on having remodeled bodies to make them more beautiful.

The plastic surgery has divided from a practical point of view in two fields of action:

Although it has been said many times that the physical isn´t the most important human beings, not nature always gives everyone what they want and not all people are unhappy with their body. In any case, plastic surgery is just an alternative that offers the possibility of welfare to those who believe that change can make them feel better.

DISADVANTAGES

We can not deny that in some cases plastic surgery is necessary; at the end is a science and a branch of medicine as any other. However, how can we convince people that the purpose of the study and advancing science of plastic surgery is for medical purposes, not for transforming what we are.

Plastic surgery has reached the point of turning people into completely different beings, loosing the harmony of their bodies and even their common family traits, without mention the risks that brings to health such transformations.

It is more common now to hear about bad plastic surgery deaths made or complications during surgery, most people are uninformed about the risks that these practices bring, and the complications that can occur in the future. our bodies often react  negatively  to abuse and foreign objects in it, reactions vary from bleeding, excessive pain, rejection of prostheses or implants and some times death itself, without mention other incidents that may occur for bad practice from people  who seek to cash for this growing phenomenon.

We must raise awareness of this, consider  that the most effective method  to look good are morals and habits that we have;  have a healthy lifestyle and accept what we are mainly, as we are and live happy and proud of it .
